About me

My name is Harsh Dhruva and I am a current Graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University. I am studying Robotics, with a research focus in Computer Vision, SLAM and Path planning. I am also a fan of simply made intelligent mechanical design.

Growing up in India I was exposed to several ancient mythological stories told by my grandmother. Flying chariots without pilots, special arrows with auto aim, and other things that seemed like magic. Then, just a thought, now kind of a reality.

With the development in several theories, we are already able to achieve highly intelligent systems. Maybe now I can tell my grandmother, that the myths in her stories are true in my experience.

Tackling problems in robotics, explores the depths of the meaning of intelligence, with immediate real life demonstrations and applications. This is in a way, a journey into the curiosity of our own inner exploration.

I wish to use my skills to solve challenging problems, create interesting ideas and gain a deeper insight into the vast and increasingly deep field of robotics and engineering. Would love to have a conversation about any related topic, feel free to reach out!
